OWLS donations put to use
The day before I start my Pedal4WildlifeII, I would like to appeal yet again for your support for the Outer Banks Wildlife Shelter. Pictured is the beautiful brand new mew that has recently been erected on the OWLS premises in Newport, North Carolina. Paid for by donors to the wildlife shelter (including the plywood in the back, thanks Mom and Dad!), and built by a myriad of time-giving volunteers, the new mew will help resident raptors that cannot be released back into the wild. These raptors will travel with the OWLS staff to support educational programs both on and off the OWLS campus. Thank you for your support of the Outer Banks Wildlife Shelter. I look forward to sharing with you my very wild ride across the continent this winter!
